As the last session of the “Living Graciously, Leaving Triumphantly” series, speaker from Ang Chin Moh Casket Pte Ltd did a sharing on “Live Well, Leave Well” on Sunday, 27 March 2016.
Seniors learnt about planning ahead for funeral preparations so that their families do not have to dispute over the arrangements.
Residents were also introduced to new technology that allows ashes to be turned into diamonds as a memorial instead of the traditional burial that requires renewal every 15-30years.
The series of talk is held in collaboration with North East Community Development Council.
Presentation of token of appreciation by Mr Daniel Lam, NECDC to speaker

Over 40 residents participated in the Educational Tour organised by Eunos Zone ‘3’ RC on 19 March 2016.
The first destination was the Ho Tit Coffee Factory, established since 1953. Residents were given a brief on and tasted various types of coffee concoctions. The second stop was at The Genie Gourmet where residents were shown how Soon Kueh and various types of snacks were made. Just across the stretch of shophouses is where Lee Wee and Brothers’ Foodstuff Ptd Ltd sells their famous Nasi Lemak.
After lunch, the group headed to Paya Lebar Airbase for the visit to Air Force Museum. CPL Kan Ang briefed and led the group on a tour around the museum. Residents were highly impressed by the changes and development of our RSAF over the years into a world class fighting outfit with modern jets and aircrafts.
