Over 500 residents participated in our Residents’ Gathering, held in conjunction with the Home Improvement Programme (HIP) with Enhancement for Active Seniors (EASE), on 13 October 2012.
In his speech, Eunos Zone ‘3’ RC Chairman, Mr Fong Yoong Kheong, shared with residents that there was a delay in the implementation of the HIP but it was a pleasant one, as the HIP was beefed up with EASE. Over the past few months, RC members and volunteers had visited all the blocks to gather feedback and garner support for the HIP. He also thanked Eunos Grassroots Adviser Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed for making HIP possible for Eunos Heights residents.
The Residents’ Committee organised the residents’ gathering to kill 2 birds with 1 stone – 1) Encourage participation in the HDB HIP Polling; 2) Allow residents to gather and make friends with one another.
We were honoured to have the audience of Mr Sim Wai Chin BBM, Chairman of Eunos Citizens’ Consultative Committee.
The event was made possible by the RC members and volunteers
