Eunos Zone ‘3’ Goes Green in RC-REIT Programme

The Residents’ Committee (RC) – Recycling Exchange IniTiative (REIT) programme a loyalty programme to encourage the RCs to work closely with the HDB residents so as to conduct the recycling food exchange activities on a more regular basis.

Interestingly, it was launched at Eunos (Blk 669 Jalan Damai) in 2006 by Mayor Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Mayor of North East CDC.

Zone ‘3’ residents can now bring their recycleable items to the RC Centre on the 3rd Sunday of every month, 10am – 12 noon, to exchange for food items, such as sardine cans and rice.

Together we can make our home a greener place to live in!
